A network built to plan, not from whatever cable happened to be on hand

A properly designed network, the foundation everything else in the office stands on.

The network is the infrastructure beneath the infrastructure

Wi-Fi drops in one half of the office while it holds steady in the other. The cables behind the cabinet were pulled by whoever happened to be free during the renovation, with no labels and no diagram. No one can say right now which patch panel feeds which outlet, and adding a new workstation turns into an investigation. We build networks where that doesn’t happen. Designed up front, cabled to plan, and documented so the answer doesn’t depend on any one person’s memory.

What the service includes

Design

We start with what the network needs to do: number of workstations, load, security requirements, growth plans. The equipment selection and topology follow from that, not the other way around. If you already have servers and systems that will run over this network, we account for them at this stage.

Structured cabling

Laying and terminating cable runs, installing communication racks, patch panels, and switches. Every connection is labeled and documented, so the next person (including you) can trace the run without guessing.

Wireless networks

We design Wi-Fi coverage around the layout of the rooms and the materials of the walls, instead of relying on a single router in the corner. We separate the guest network from the work network so internal traffic stays isolated.

Segmentation and remote access

We divide the network into logical zones (VLANs) to restrict access where needed, so point-of-sale systems, cameras, and guests don’t share a network with accounting, for example. We configure VPN for secure remote work without opening ports directly to the internet.

Network security

We configure the firewall, access rules, and filtering. The network is the first line of defense against a large share of threats, and the foundation on which ongoing environment monitoring builds.

What you get

Stability. Fewer unexplained outages and slowdowns, because the network is sized for the real load rather than assembled from whatever was on hand.

Room to grow. Adding workstations or locations doesn’t require rebuilding from scratch, the topology was designed for it up front.

Documentation. A network diagram, labeled runs, and described settings. The work doesn’t depend on one person’s memory. If you later hand maintenance to another team, or to us through system administration, it starts from a ready base, not from zero.

Security. Separated access and controlled connections to the outside world, aligned with your infrastructure development strategy if you’ve already discussed it with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the office keep working during the build-out?

In most cases yes, if the network is built in stages or outside core working hours for the busiest sections. When replacing existing connectivity, we plan outages in advance and limit them to specific windows, so the whole office doesn’t stop working at once. The scope is agreed during the survey, since it depends on the specific premises.

What do we get after the build-out is complete?

Full documentation of the environment: a diagram of the runs and ports, a plan of the IP addressing and VLAN segments, and the access credentials for the equipment, handed over securely. That’s the base you can rely on for any future vendor or your own team, without depending on anyone’s memory.

How long does building an office network take?

It depends on the size of the site, the state of the existing infrastructure, and the volume of structured cabling. The design happens up front, and the build-out itself happens in stages, scheduled to disrupt ongoing work as little as possible. You get a concrete timeline after an on-site survey.

How much does building a company network cost?

The price depends on the size of the site, the number of workstations, the equipment chosen, and the security requirements. We prepare a detailed quote after an on-site survey. See contact to request a review.

What equipment do you work with?

We use professional equipment (MikroTik, Ubiquiti UniFi, pfSense) and cabling that meets the current structured-cabling standard. We don’t skimp on the components that determine whether the network still works five years from now.

Can you upgrade an existing network?

Yes. If you already have a network in place and it isn’t working as it should, we audit the current state and propose concrete improvements, without pushing you to rebuild everything from scratch. This is often combined with general technical support for the environment after the audit.

How it looks in practice

Restaurant, 25 staff

The situation
Wi-Fi covered the dining area up to the kitchen door and stopped there. The ordering terminal at two tables by the window lost connection several times a night, and the waitstaff rewrote the order by hand.
What we did
We surveyed the premises and added an access point behind the kitchen, separating the guest network for customers from the one used by the terminals and cameras. The cables to the new points were run discreetly above the suspended ceiling.
The result
Orders go through without interruption in every part of the dining area. Guests use a separate Wi-Fi that never crosses paths with the work network.

Architecture firm, 12 people

The situation
When they moved to a new floor, the cables had been pulled hastily by the renovation company, with no labels and no diagram. Nobody knew which outlet in which room reached which switch port, and every new workstation meant searching by trial and error.
What we did
We remapped the existing cable runs, replaced the unterminated cables, and organized the patch panel with clearly labeled ports by room. We added a network diagram, left available in the office.
The result
A new workstation is connected in minutes, without testing every cable in turn. Anyone who opens the rack can see what goes where.
